Chapter 5

The Werewolves.

They are in search of the Royal wolves.

The wolves evolved them to survive and to live in the human world disguised as humans. But they are superior to humans. They are the most powerful supernatural creatures of all time. They can try to hide but, something will give them up eventually, AND the vampires are only waiting for that chance. One mistake will be their end. Like them, people tell the stories that the werewolves are extinct! They were destroyed and killed. But the vampires know that they are still out there living in privacy.

The Royal Werewolves

The descendants of three Royal werewolves families,

Konrads, Rynders, and Valerians were living in the modern era of the world.

The old pack system ended years ago. The evolution of the wolves took place due to the war.

A war happened between the vampires, hunters and werewolves. Vampires being arrogant, didn't back off from killing the humans.

Their thirst for blood was getting out of hand. So, the hunters decided to end it.

The werewolves and hunters were against each other, but they agreed that killing innocent people was against the rules of nature.

So they decide to work together to eliminate the vampires.

Once they completed their work, they left the vampires extinct.

A group of hunters decided to put a full stop to the breed of werewolves. But, the werewolves were sharp.

They fought to stop the vampires from killing humans. AND they got the idea that hunters being insecure, will soon start hunting the wolves.

So, it was now time to play their own game. The wolves went to the humans for help as they did help the humans. The humans helped the wolves run for their lives and hid in faraway places making their existence secret. So, the werewolves decided to flee their packs. They survived.

But, All the alone wolves or the ones who were living in the packs.

It was so difficult for them to survive. Those died naturally or were; found by hunters.

But the wolves with superior powers survived and evolved. The first change in them was that they stopped shifting in their wolf forms. AND because of that, their strength was affected. But they have to survive.

After that, they stopped hunting the animals. It was a rough change in their nature. AND that reduced the chance for the hunters to find them.

AND like that, they were able to hide in the human world. Now, the modern wolves only have sharp senses, the power of healing and speed.

Now, they live like humans but are still in danger. They don't want anyone to find out about them; it will bring a storm in their life.

A beautiful blond girl was sitting on the floor in an office room.

The room lit up with so many lights but was not tidy. There was a pile of clothes, papers, sticky notes, files, and colourful pencils scattered all in the room. A canvas roughly painted with a marron colour dress design. The glass window of the room giving; the clue that the new day begins. It was showing the golden glow of the sun blinking beautifully in the sky.

It was a laptop placed in front of her on the floor. Vanna's eyes fixed on the laptop screen. But she was not focused on her work. A measurement tape was hanging around her neck. She was sitting in a criss-cross position on the ground. There was a pen in her mouth. Her beautiful wavy hairs were tied loosely in a bun. With an anticipated look on her face, she was in deep thought;

'Why don't they understand? I don't want to get married. I don't want to get bound in any relationship. I never wanted it. I was never a follower; I want to make my way to my passion. AND I have an aim that I want to fulfil. I have come a long way to achieve my goal. Now, I can't back away. I can not get married to him just for a deal. It will be an injustice to both of us. I know he will never deny anything his parents asked of him. But I have to stop him; I have to talk to Darnet. I will not get married because of a business deal with no emotions. AND especially, I don't want to marry him. He deserves love.'

Suddenly her phone rang; she came out from the bundle of her thoughts; it was her mother calling her; Vanna's eyebrows did a furrowed movement.

'Why did she call me so early in the morning?' Her heartbeat went fast. She picked up the call.

"Mum, everything alright!" She asked. But, she heard a sob from the other side.

"Mum, what happened? Are you crying?" A worried look came upon her face.

"Vanna, where are you?" Her mother said in a sobbing voice.

"I am in the office. But, Mum. What happened? Why are you crying?" She asked.

"Vanna, didn't you got the news? Darnet's car meets up with an accident. We don't know enough; but, his driver and secretory are in the hospital. I am trying to reach out to Patrina but, she is not picking up the calls." She told. Vanna's face went into a shock.

"What!!!" She said.

"Yes, I want you to go and check upon him. We are packing up everything; we both will be there soon..." She said.

"Okay, Mum. I am getting out of the office. I will go check..." But she stopped in mid-sentence. A thought crossed her mind but, it is not the right time to be selfish. She has to check that Darnet is fine.

"Okay, Mum, please stop crying. Mum, don't get worried. He will be fine. I am getting out from here; I will inform you about his condition." She said. Vanna ended the call then get up from the floor. She wore her shoes, picked up the keys then got out of the office.

Vanna dialled a number on her phone. But no one picked it up.

"Why the hell is he not picking up my phone?" She was exhausted from all the work. AND now this... It was the day before the launching of her new boutique.

But her head was messed up with another matter at hand. She doesn't want to get married. AND there is the only way possible for it if she can talk to Darnet. She tried to reach him but, he never picked up her calls. Also, his secretary was not fixing an appointment with him because he was so busy. He came back home today. Vanna knew it but, this news about his accident was heartbreaking.

Darnet was ignoring her now like she did all these years. Vanna was not only ignoring him but this very possibility of getting married to him. It was the only reason she created this space between their friendship. Vanna has hurt him the most! She was his only best friend. But she left him; she ruined their friendship. It is alright for him to get upset with Vanna.

"I hope he is fine." She murmured in her mouth. Now, she can at least see him.

Vanna got out of her office then sat in her car driving towards Darnet's house.
