Chapter-9

549 Words
I wake up and before I open my eyes I think of the two new boys in my life. Judging by the silence around my house I guess I am alone. I open one eye and peek to see if anyone's present in my room. When I don't see anyone I open both my eyes and look around. My room's empty. I hope my house is too. I get up and my body is aching. I don't want to think about my day today. So I ignore the images that flash into my head. My body feels fine, and by fine I mean it's not overly turned on so that's a good start I guess. I grab my white lily oil and run a bath for myself. Oh God, I need a spa. I do away with my clothes and then slip in the bathtub in the scalding hot water. I love bathing in hot water, the burning sensation against my skin. I think hot water is the ultimate luxury in life. If I have hot water to get myself into and clean my body, taking all the time in the world, then I consider myself living a rich life. So, far I have really, really been lucky. Well, most of the time anyway. I don't bath at all if I don't have hot water to soak my body into. I lose the track of time and I finally get up when the water has started turning cold. I wrap a towel around my body and one on my wet hair and then go to the kitchen to grab a bite. I am famished. There are only a couple of bottles of blood inside my fridge. Damn, I need to restock fast now. I grab a bottle and straw and perch on the chair and drink it when I see a letter inside my house. I walk and grab the letter. No one ever sends me a letter and I think it's one of the two guys because I don't think anyone else knows where am I staying unless I am being stalked the living daylights of without my knowledge. I quickly tear open the envelope to find a very scary/weird message. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. THEY ARE BOTH VERY DANGEROUS. What in seven heavens? There are only so many new people you can welcome in your life in one day. I quickly get up and decide to burn some sage and spray some lavender oil around my house to keep away all the vampires/werewolves and other anonymous creatures out of my sacred home. I am moving about my house with the burning sage in one hand and a lavender spray in another purifying my house like I mean business. Since I am only in my towels, my body not obstructed with clothes I can feel the smoke of the sage purifying my body and soul too. Yes, contrary to the popular belief, I believe I have a soul and a damn good and pure one at that too! I suddenly turn around when I see Carl standing by the door looking at me and looking mighty amused. Damn, the sage and the lavender oil don’t work! I sigh as I see him walk up to me.
