" He's my husband"
After those three words, the room descends into an awkward silence as her mother stares at the both of them. A varied amount of emotions were visible on her face.
From shock, to worry and Kayla was worried also that her mother would be overwhelmed but she also wouldn't approve of her marriage with Alexander.
" How long?" her mother finally asked staring at them both. " A month now," she said. While Kayla had a worried look on her face as she waited for her mother's response.
But throughout the encounter, Alexander's face gave away nothing. Before her mother could say anything he then spoke. " Little lamb could you give us a minute I wish to speak with your mother in private," he said.
Both mother and daughter gave looks of surprise as they heard this. T
