Chapter two : Deadly Forest

 Dragon gets an assignment from an evil Sorcerer named Stellan Flaur, he must steal the Aporion ball stored in the Royal Palace of Nexus, with the agreement that if Dragon succeeds, he will get information about the whereabouts of the person who killed his teacher, as well as getting freedom from stored explosives. by Flaur in the Dragon's body. It was planned that the Aporion ball would be used by Flaur to resurrect the evil Emperor Darkros. But even so, Dragon had no choice but to complete the task.

 In short, Dragon has gotten his belongings back. A bag containing magic rope, and a sword given from his teacher, which is very valuable to Dragon. He was seen standing outside Flaur's Castle, with a look of exasperation on his face, but he was still preparing to leave immediately for the Kingdom of Nexus. Once again he established himself before carrying out the difficult task. However this is the only way for him to be able to know about the existence of Night crow, and freed from the curse.

 While walking among the rows of pine trees, Dragon spoke to himself. "Why did I get caught up in a situation like this? He has a lot of men, so why should I be sent away? . . . Let me just think about that later, now I have to check the fastest route to the Kingdom of Nexus. "

 Then the Dragon pulled out a map from inside the pouch attached to his waist. After the map was revealed by his hands, he immediately looked carefully at each picture on the map, to see which path he had to take and the places he would take on his journey to the Kingdom of Nexus.

 He must first pass through the vast Forest of Death that surrounds his current location, because that is the closest road to the Kingdom of Nexus. After that he must pass through a very large and broad desert called the Zuci desert. Next he will arrive at a large city that has entered into the territory of the Kingdom of Nexus, which is called the City of Togu, and then he must pass through another large river area, until finally he can really reach the Kingdom of Nexus to infiltrate and steal the Aporion ball from Royal Palace.

 And now, the first place he had to pass was the Forest of Death that stretched before him, right after he finished down the Cliff. There was no other way for him than having to go through the Forest, except for the cliff that Dragon climbed yesterday to get to Flaur Castle, but the place was in the opposite direction to the Kingdom of Nexus.

 From a distance, Dragon watched the entire Forest area so called the Forest of death, he felt strange when he was near that place. The strange thing was, it was still daytime, and the weather above the sky was very clear, but the weather above the Forest of Death was cloudy and dark, like the entire Forest area was untouched by the sun at all.

 Dragon's feeling at that time was rreallynot good, but without hesitation, Dragon continued to step forward to enter the Forest, he was not afraid of any danger, now all he had to do is walk straight through the forest of death, so he could continue the journey to the Kingdom of Nexus.

 Actually it was still daytime, but in the Forest it felt like it was nighttime, and the weather was really cold. In that forest too, many dead trees and shrubs that added to the atmosphere there became so dark, there were also many dead tree trunks blocking the path before the Dragon.

 He spoke to himself, while continuing to move forward. "Just to be able to meet with the Night Crow, I must become a thief first. But take it easy, my journey is still very long, so I still have plenty of time to think. However I have to find a way to be free from all this ... Maybe I'll tell everything about Flaur to one of the warriors in the Kingdom of Nexus. " Said Dragon slightly joking.

 Then Dragon felt a very painful throb from his shoulder, it made Dragon stop for a moment while grinning in pain, "Aaaahk !!" It seemed that the object inside Dragon's shoulder had given him a warning, when Dragon mentioned Flaur's name from his mouth.

 A few moments later, without Dragon realizing, the sharp glare from a pair of eyes was watching Dragon from a distance, apparently Dragon was not just alone there. There was another creature who was watching and approaching toward him, suddenly Dragon heard a rustling sound from the bushes behind him. Instantly Dragon immediately turned around to look at the situation around him. He looked around the place where he was, then after he was sure that nothing was suspicious, he resumed his steps.

 Suddenly a black shadow darted between the trees beside the Dragon, and that made Dragon a little surprised for the second time, so that he spontaneously seemed to draw the sword on his back, but he had thought for a moment and then stopped his intention to drew the sword, then Dragon lowered his hand back down to reach into the pouch attached to his waist. He decided to use the magic rope as a weapon, to face any creature that was currently lurking himself from behind the trees and shrubs around him.

 "Whoever it is, come out and show yourself! I won't give a warning twice. " Shouted Dragon while paying attention to the whole situation around him.

 After that, Dragon began to hear strange sounds, coming from behind the bushes beside him. The voice sounded like a growling dog. It seems like it's not just one or two, but it's quite a lot, because the sound is popping up from various directions. Then the Dragon prepares to face any creature that will come out from behind the bushes, he is ready to accept the worst possibility.

 And it was true. Suddenly a creature came out who immediately pounced Dragon's body from the front in a shock, until he fell backward. That made Dragon so shocked that he immediately put up a fight, the creature that pounced on it tried to bite Dragon's face, but with difficulty Dragon kept trying to hold the mouth and hands of the creature, so as to stay away from him, then Dragon kicked his stomach until the creature bounced far enough.

 After that Dragon immediately stood up to stare at the creature who had just tried to eat him. Dragon tried to convince himself that the creature in front of him was really what he was thinking, even though he could not yet believe what he was seeing right now. Namely a werewolf that is equal in size to an adult human body.

With a very scary face, canine teeth that drooped, wide ears, sharp claws, dense fur all over the body, and sharp eyes that kept staring at Dragon. The monster is the most feared beast that has inhabited the forest of death.

 Not just one, but it turns out there are a lot of them there. Six more werewolves appeared from behind the bushes, and immediately surrounded Dragon from various directions, so Dragon really did not have a gap to leave. The monsters looked very hungry, and were very happy because they saw food ready to eat in front of them.

 "Oh ... This is another of my luck for today." Said Dragon.

NBut Dragon will not make it easy for them, of course Dragon will provide resistance which is quite difficult for them. When there is a werewolf who starts to pounce on Dragon from behind, Dragon immediately get down so that he is not affected by the pouncing. Then Dragon threw the magic rope in his hand so that it wrapped around the neck of one of those werewolves there, after that Dragon pulled it so that the body of the monster was thrown and crashed into the body of another monster that was approaching towards the Dragon.

 Then Dragon wrapped around something else. He wrapped around a log, then threw it and struck the head of another werewolf who would pounce again, until the monster was completely collapsed. Dragon is really very good at using his magic rope to deal with dangerous situations like that, he wrapped around and pulled the body parts of the monsters until they fell and fell, one by one.

NThey all seemed very overwhelmed by the agility and shrewdness of the Dragon, who kept a close eye on the surroundings, because the creatures never gave up, and kept trying to pounce Dragon from various directions, while providing attacks that were very difficult to avoid.

 Then suddenly a werewolf manages to hit and make Dragon fall down, in these circumstances, Dragon becomes very easy to be eaten. But Dragon immediately threw the rope up until the end of the rope was wrapped around a tree trunk above him. Then when the rope shortens itself again, the Dragon will automatically also be lifted up quickly until it reaches the tree trunk. Therefore Dragon can avoid being attacked by werewolves who will eat him simultaneously.

 Then Dragon immediately jumped and swung to a place far enough away from the werewolves who were swarming, so that finally he could be free from their siege, then immediately went to escape from the werewolves who wanted to eat him. But at once, the hungry werewolves immediately chased Dragon simultaneously with fierce, they were running around like a herd of predators who were chasing their prey.

Dragon continued driving down and through the many trees so that he could get out of the forest of death immediately, along with hungry werewolves who were chasing him from behind.

 "This was not mentioned in the agreement !!" Said Dragon while continuing to run.

 No matter how fast Dragon ran, the werewolves remained much faster than the speed of the Dragon's running pace. right behind Dragon there was a werewolf who trying to reach his back, while on the left and right side of Dragon, there were already two werewolves who were running in a position parallel to him, they were ready to pounce on the Dragon from both directions. So that means now Dragon is ready to be pounced from three directions. From right, left, and from behind his body.

 But suddenly right in front of Dragon there was a large log that was blocking so that it blocked his way. Then without thinking, Dragon immediately launched his body down past the log, so that the werewolves behind him immediately hit the log, while the two werewolves who pounced on him from the left and right sides, so they bumped into each other, because their prey has escaped by passing a log from the bottom.

 After a long time Dragon struggled to run while avoiding attacks from the werewolves who were chasing him, finally Dragon was able to find a speck of light from a distance that indicated the exit was very close. 

 Therefore Dragon continued to run with all his strength, but the werewolves did not want to let go of their prey just like that, they also continued to speed up so that their hands would grip the Dragon's body a little more.

But before they can reach their prey, Dragon suddenly stumbles and falls forward, until he exits the Forest of death. He fell on a place overgrown with thick grass. Then Dragon immediately reversed his body and prepared to withstand the attack from the werewolves who would try to eat him there.

 But apparently no one tried to pounce on Dragon at all. They all did not follow Dragon until they came out of the Forest of Death. The werewolves stopped running and only looked at the Dragon from the dark forest. One of the creatures tried to grab Dragon by extending his hand out of the boundary of the Forest of Death, but suddenly his hand immediately blistered and smoked.

 It seems like the bodies of the werewolves will immediately burn if they get out of the Forest of Death territories, so they all don't dare to get out of there, even to pounce and capture the Dragon. Nobody dares to go forward.

 They all look very disappointed because the prey has managed to escape their ambush. Of course so, because what they were after was Dragon, and if what they were after was ordinary people, surely they could eat well that day. But unfortunately, Dragon does not want to die there and become a meal for them, he still has ambition and purpose to avenge the death of his teacher, and therefore his determination to survive is very high to be saved. He did not want to die and dash his hopes in that place.

 While looking at the werewolves who only silently lamented their failures, Dragon stood up and said a few words with both hands raised, "Hey, I'm here. What are you doing? Hahahahah ... Fyuuh. " Dragon teased the werewolves, laughing a little, then he breathed a sigh of relief.

 "Sorry, you guys started first ... See you later." After apologizing to all of them, then Dragon waved his hand while leaving immediately, leaving the hungry werewolves behind him. Then they all disperse after seeing their prey leave.

 Without thinking, Dragon immediately went away as far away from the extremely dangerous forest, with a lethargy feeling mixed with relief. He continued his journey to the Kingdom of Nexus, where he had to carry out missions from Stellan Flaur.
