Chapter forty two : Pursuit of Dragon part 2

 The pursuit of Dragon was still on going, they already out of the Nexus Royal Capital Territory, and now the horses they were riding were speeding along the dirt road to Togu City, which was still quite a distance away. Princess and the three Knights storm of Nexus are still loyal to chase Dragon from behind, and Dragon's difficulty is increasing, because apparently the great number of Nexus Kingdom horsemen are also chasing Dragon. They will try to help the princess's efforts to stop and arrest the Togu City Tournament Champion.

 The hussar soldiers came from various places that had been passing by Dragon horse, and most of them came from the fort guards who were marching near the gates of the Capital. So instantly Dragon's state changed, from initially being chased by only four people, to now being chased by a large number of cavalry.

 Meanwhile inside the Nexus Royal Palace, the King Velodrian was already outside the Treasury Room, along with Gard and General Eagle. They seem to be still tired, for all the things that had happened. Especially the King, because right now the King was worried about his daughter who was going to chase the Dragon, while the Gard and the General were worried about the Dragon that they really wanted to imprison because his action had gone too far.

 A few moments later, a guard soldier from outside the palace came to meet Gard there, he intends to give a report to Gard. “Report sir! I have important news. " Said the Soldier.

 "Yes, what’s Report?" Gard asked the Soldier.

 "Report sir, All of Mister Dragon's weapons that were stored in Headquarters, have now been stolen by the three Thieves. ”

 Then Gard patted his forehead as he said. "Geez. We really got tricked. "

 "It turns out that Dragon has a gang, huh?" The General wondered, while the King Velodrian was silent in response to this. He still had faith in Dragon, and believed that Dragon had a special reason for his actions.

 Turning back to Dragon who was still being chased by Princess Reina and her troops. Now Dragon is in a more difficult and more dangerous situation than before, because he is already outside the territory of the Nexus Capital, so now the Knights can start attacking Dragon using their power, plus the increasing number of people who are chasing him. Therefore, Dragon must be able to think of a way to be free from this situation, because heis alone without any weapons, and being chased by a group of ready-to-fight cavalry, who will not let him get away with it.

 Arci and Holdi constantly gave their special attacks to Dragon, in the form of electric shocks and wind waves, so Dragon began to have difficulty controlling the pace of his horse, because he was busy avoiding all attacks aimed at him, coupled with attacks from the Princess and Rizu who kept launching arrows towards Dragon's back, even though every arrow shot from Rizu was confirmed to have missed. But all the attacks they launched on the Dragon were very troublesome, so Dragon had to keep racing his horse very agile and nimble, Dragon kept on going non-stop while avoiding all attacks. And it made the Princess even more furious that she kept ordering the Knights to keep attacking him.

 Then Dragon started talking to himself. “The princess really intends to kill me! What have I done to her? ... Oh that's right, I've dared to threaten his father. Now what else i can do? I have to keep going! ” Dragon said to himself, while still trying to control his horse to move more agile.

 Ever since Dragon stepped foot in Nexus Palace, actually the feeling of dilemma, fear, doubt, and nervousness, kept stirring in his mind. Because Dragon didn't want to betray the hospitality from those people in Nexus Palace had given to him, but because he had no other choice, he was forced to do the bad thing, namely attacking several Soldiers, acting presumptuously to the King, and even took the valuable objects stored in the palace and then he just escaped. So now he must accept the consequences of all his actions, namely being chased by the Princess, the Knights, and the Soldiers, with the status of Dragon is now a fugitive.

 Not long after, the chase finally arrived at a large corn field, Dragon brought his pursuers into a row of towering corn trees so it making difficult for them to maintain they sight of Dragon. And it also made their horse speed separate, because the rows of corn trees were so thick that filled the place. But Princess Reina and the Knights didn't have any trouble at all, they continued to spur their horses to keep up with the Dragon horse from behind.

 Then suddenly there were screams from the cavalry soldiers who were in the rear position, it seemed that something was hunting and attacking them one by one, from behind the thick corn trees that were there. Increasingly, the screams were heard from various directions, making Princess Reina both confused and anxious about this.

 Then there was one of the Hussar soldiers who had caught up with the Princess and the Knights, with a face that looked pale with fear. So at that moment, Princess Reina immediately asked him, while continuing to race the horse she was riding.

 "What's going on back there?" Asked the Princess to the Soldier.

 "We- we were ambushed one by one by mysterious creatures, which looked like lizards ... The lizard attacked and hunted us, so that now our numbers are decreasing." Said one of the soldiers on horseback.

 "Lizard?" The Princess and the Knights wondered.

 Not only that, the group of cavalry soldiers who were chasing Dragon also experienced another strange incident. The horses of the Soldiers suddenly tripped and knocked down because of the rocks floating around where they were going. And all these incidents make Princess and the others feel worried and confused.

 So they wondered, ("What exactly happened? And who did the ambush?")

 The answer is none other than the act of Glauss and Kalpen who were also been there, they were the ones who had ambushed and made it difficult for the horsemen who were chasing Dragon. So that the Dragon-chaser numbers got decrease little by little, and of course the Soldiers don't know that Glauss and Kalpen are the two people behind the incident, they still think that those who have attacked them are mysterious creatures.

 Then after Dragon came out of the cornfield area, he still spurred his horse quickly to get to Togu City, while still avoiding attacks from the Princess and her friends, who were still chasing him from behind. The chase is indeed very long and difficult for Dragon, but he will continue to try his best to be free from the chase.

 After going through a very long journey, Dragon finally arrived at his destination safely, namely in the Togu City area, but Dragon was still in an unsafe state, because he was still being followed by his pursuers.

 The horse ridden by Dragon continues to run down the streets of Togu City, which are winding and narrow enough, so that their pursuers will be tricked and got confused.

 Along the road, Dragon ran into the residents of Togu City, who were shocked when They saw Dragon being chased by the Princess and her entourage of Soldiers. This led to speculation that Dragon seemed to have committed a crime at Nexus Palace, to the point of making the Princess furious. The image of Dragon as the Champion of the Togu City Tournament seemed to disappear, as everyone witnessed the very tense chase.

 Then something happened that was no less surprising, one of the horses ridden by the Soldier, suddenly shook as if pushed by an invisible object, causing the horse to collapse along with the Soldier who was riding on it, and it also made the other Hussar soldiers become lost focus and then bumped into each other, until they all fell down simultaneously along the road. So because of that incident, now the number of Soldiers who followed the Princess and the three Knights storm of Nexus was zero.

 Actually that incident was the work of Zhoei, who had used her power from afar to disrupt the pace of the Hussar, so that their horse's pace became disturbed and rubbed against each other, then finally the Hussar soldiers fell down.

 The princess who saw her Soldiers fall, became even more annoyed, because now the number of people who chased Dragon returned to only four people, namely the Princess, Rizu, Arci, and Holdi only. So after that, with a feeling of wrath, the Princess continued to increase the speed of her horse, so that she could get closer to the Dragon horse. But still Dragon can always stay away and avoid her.

 A few moments later, Dragon had entered the Togu City market area. While continuing to spur his horse, Dragon looked in all directions as if he was looking for the whereabouts of someone there. Then when he found what he was looking for, Dragon immediately turned sharply to the left so that he could run into someone wearing a mysterious black robe, right on the side of the market street of Togu City.

 Quickly and without saying much, the mysterious person immediately handed several items to Dragon, which Dragon also immediately took, then he hugged the items he had received tightly.

 Princess Reina and her friends did not realize this because they only turned right after Dragon had finished the process of handing over the items, so Princess Reina did not harbor any suspicion about the mysterious black robed person standing on the side of the road, who was actually Tatsui.

 Then, Dragon immediately used all the items that had been handed over to him, namely a sword, gold plate, and his magic rope so that Dragon was now in a complete state with all his weapons, to be able to escape from the pursuit of Princess Reina and her friends.

 After all of them had left the Togu City area, they finally entered the vast area of the meadow, so that Dragon became an easy target for the attacks of the Nexus Storm Knights, who freely used their power against the Dragon, so that the vast meadow became a Combat area for Dragon and the Knights. But now, Dragon is able to give attack, he continues to counter the attacks from the Knights using Mellinda's dagger.

 To the point that Melinda asked him with a feeling of shock and confusion. “Dragon! what has happened actually? Why Gill and friends steal me from the Headquarters? And why are you currently being chased by the Knights of the Nexus Kingdom ?! Quick explain it to me right now! ” Said Melinda to Dragon.

 "Calm down, I will explain everything to you when the condition are safe ... Now please help me to deal with them!" Dragon replied while asking for an additional dagger in his hand, so he can throw that at the people who were chasing him so persistently.

 Rizu and Princess used arrows, while Arci and Holdi used their powers. They continued to attack Dragon without stopping, while avoiding those attacks, Dragon's throwing daggers to his pursuers, so They are really fiercely attacking each other there.

 But suddenly they were shocked by a tremor on the ground around them, then a few moments later the ground in front of Arci and Holdi suddenly burst into a towering high, and it of course hindered the pace of the horse belonging to Arci and Holdi. After that happen, they couldn't continue their pursuit of Dragon, because the horse's steps that two of them were riding on had been blocked by the high ground wall.

Meanwhile Princess Reina and Rizu were still able to continue their pursuit of Dragon, because their horse's pace was completely unhindered by the towering ground.

 Then while paying attention to the high ground barrier in front of them, Arci speaks to Holdi with a little anxious feeling. "Th- this is like the power of the great Knights Tomb." Arci said.

 "No, I know very well the type of attack from the great Knights Tomb has ... This towering ground, looks like it has taken a very strong s***h attack." Said Holdi.

 "Ooh, s***h? ... Who can cut the surface of the ground untill it become this high? " Arci asked with a confused face.

 "I don't know ... let's take a turn, we must immediately catch up with the Princess and Rizu." Invite Holdi to Arci while directing his horse to turn around to find another way.

 Meanwhile, in a place not far from them, someone was hiding behind a tree. And that person was none other than Gill, he was the one who had given a strong s***h to block the way for Arci and Holdi who were busy launching attacks on Dragon insistently. But with the help of Gill, now Arci and Holdi can finally be separated from the pursuit of Dragon.

 Turning to Dragon who was still spurting his horse while being chased by Princess and Rizu, at the same time he being showered by darts of arrows aimed at him. Now Dragon and the two pursuers have entered a dense forest area, so it can be easier for Dragon to avoid the arrows pointing at his body, because of the many trees that have large branches there.

 Then the longer they chase, the distance between the Dragon and his pursuers became farther, due to the confusing path and obstructed by lots of lush plants there, besides that the pace of Dragon horse was also very fast and agile, making the two pursuers even more inconvenient.

 Therefore, the horse ridden by Rizu ended up having to be far apart from the horse of the Princess and Dragon, because Rizu had taken the wrong path which made he lost track of his target. This made Rizu panic and worry about the Princess, so he immediately calmed down and tried to catch up with the Princess and Dragon.

.Meanwhile, Dragon continued with his horse towards the light, until he managed to get out of the dense forest area. But unfortunately, in front of him there was no longer a path that could be traversed, because what he next encountered was a fairly deep ravine with a very fast river underneath. Dragon immediately stopped the pace of his horse so that he and his horse did not fall into the abyss, then Dragon stayed near the edge of the cliff while looking down to see how far the river below.

 Therefore, Dragon immediately looked around to find another way he could walk safely. But However, a few moments later, Princess Reina arrived there and immediately got off her horse, while continuing to point her arrows at Dragon, who raised both hands just after the Princess arrived there. After that, Princess Reina immediately spoke to Dragon.

 "Don't do anything, now you have nowhere else to go ... Hand over all your weapons and come with me back to the Nexus Royal Palace." Said Princess Reina.

 After listening to these words, Dragon immediately lowered his hands while smiling at the princess, “Hmm. Then after I got there, what will happen to me next? " Asked Dragon.

 "You will serve your sentence." Said the princess firmly.

 "Hmm, no thanks ... I prefer to fight." Dragon replied while bringing up the dagger in both hands.

 "How dare you! I warn you, if you fight me, your punishment will got heavier! " Princess Reina said as she began to draw her arrows strongly.

 "I'm sorry, but I have no other choice." Dragon said.

 Then Princess Reina was silent for a moment. “… Why are you doing all of this? Why would you dare to steal from the Royal Palace, and even act presumptuously against my father? Tell me the reason ?! " Tell Princess Reina to Dragon.

 "I can't say." Dragon replied briefly.

 "In that case, I will also have to take tough measures against you, so that you will talk." Princess Reina said while shooting arrows towards Dragon.

 But quickly, Dragon deflected the arrows using his dagger, even though no matter how many arrows were fired by Princess Reina, Dragon could always dodge and block them easily. While continuing to move forward closer to the Princess, so that the distance of the two of them became closer, therefore the Princess was forced to use her bow as a weapon to hit Dragon, and finally the two of them had a fierce close combat there.

 Not long after, Rizu arrived near the lush trees there, then he immediately got off the horse he was riding. Henceforth Rizu paid attention to the battle between Dragon and Princess Reina from a distance, Rizu did not want the Princess to lose focus while fighting Dragon, therefore he did not dare to approach.

So Rizu decided to land an arrow on Dragon from there, he started aiming at Dragon's body with a very serious face. Rizu was sure that this time his arrows would definitely hit the target.

 Without wasting much time, an arrow shot straight from Rizu towards Dragon. But unfortunately, a horse that was there, actually blocked the shot from Rizu, so that the horse's rear was pierced by an arrow.

So instantly, the horse went berserk and pranced around because it was in pain, so that Dragon and Princess Reina, who were fighting there, immediately became shocked. Especially when the horse continued to get closer to the two of them while going berserk, until finally the Princess and Dragon were hit by the horse kick, then caused their bodies both to be pushed over to the edge of the cliff, until they fell into the abyss together, as a result of the horse's rage. That hit by Rizu's arrows.

 Princess Reina and Dragon finally plunged freely down until they fell into a fast flowing river, then their bodies being carried away by the river stream.
