Chapter thirty one : The Sword of Heat Flame

 The fight between Gill and Dragon was still ongoing. All the attacks that Dragon launched on Gill could be parried easily, while Dragon kept getting hits until he was overwhelmed by the strenght of Gill’s sword, namely the H butcher. Then something surprising happened when Gill angered Dragon, so that Dragon would use his sword that never been used by him.

 Gill is actually still curious about the power inside Dragon's sword, but so far Dragon has never wanted to use the sword in battle. So it made Gill furious because Gill wanted Dragon to fight by using all the abilities he had, especially fighting using that sword.

 Therefore, Gill took the initiative, he immediately took Dragon's sword which was lying on the floor of the battle arena. Then Gill tried to destroy the sword to make Dragon angry. And it turned out that worked, Dragon who really angry immediately tried to take the sword back, then he finally used and unleashed the full potential of his teacher's inherited sword, which turned out to be able to release enormous flames, soaring into the sky, and made the entire audience amazed.

 For Dragon, his teacher is a special person, who has saved his life also provides a very valuable lesson for him, therefore he does not like it when people try to do bad things to his teacher’s inheritance sword.

 “Did you think since the start I wasn't going all out huh? !! ” Said Dragon who was getting angry. Then the fire that burned on his sword grew bigger and bigger.

 But after that war ended, the Dragon Knight decided to wander back, so that his whereabouts were never known again, and over time his name had begun to be forgotten. But it turned out that all this time he had secretly protected the land of Azhuloth from the evil plans of the Emperors Unity group. So that the land of Azhuloth can feel peace for 23 years, since after the big war in the Nexus Kingdom.

 However, after 23 years had passed, the Dragon Knight's physical condition finally weakened and his body became frail, because he was getting old. so that he could no longer be a protector of the land of Azhuloth, so he decided to look for a successor who would continue his struggle.

 Then the choice, apparently fell to Dragon. a former soldier from the Fulcan Kingdom who had been seriously injured in the war, besides that his heart was also hurt because he had lost his friends,, and even his entire Kingdom had also been scorched by Gold One and his Emperors Unity colleagues. That's why Dragon doesn't have the spirit to stay alive. But his teacher (The Dragon knight) guide him so that he can continue to live, and develop into a better man, by making him a disciple, and teaching him to become a skilled blacksmith.

 But after two years they lived together as two blacksmith teachers and disciples, finally the Dragon Knight had to breathe its last breath on Dragon's lap. Before his teacher died, Dragon inherited several items and weapons that were very useful for him to fight against enemies.

 Dragon believed that the death of his teacher was caused by the Night Crow (one of the Emperors Unity members). Because Dragon saw the figure of the Night Crow who was leaving his teacher lying covered in blood. Therefore, Dragon has a grudge against the Night Crow and tries to track him anywhere.

 Then finally Dragon started the trip, armed with several objects from his teacher, including the magic rope and the Heat flame sword. Dragon really appreciates and takes good care of these two things. He would not allow anyone to mess around with his teacher's precious things, especially the Heat flame sword.

That was why Dragon got very angry when Gill tried to destroy the most valuable thing left by his teacher. So now, the fierce sword battle between the two of them, was inevitable.

 Gill and Dragon immediately ran toward each other, swinging their swords to s***h at each other. After the two of them had faced closely, their two swords instantly clashed quite hard. Dragon's Heat Flame blade struck and swiped against Gill's H butcher's sword. The two of them both pushed each other and didn't want to lose.

 Gill was seen sweating because of the heat flames from the Dragon's sword, while Dragon's body seemed to flinch every time he resisted the impact of Gill's sword, because the impact that Dragon had to take was so strong.  Dragon immediately grasped the hilt of his sword firmly with both hands, then pointed the sword tip at Gill. And suddenly, extremely large and strong flames began to be shot from the Dragon Sword towards Gill.

But quickly, Gill released his ultimate power, namely the power of the Grood monster that resided in his H butcher sword. So that Gill's hand was immediately enveloped by the black energy of the Grood monster that now fused with Gill's hand, which Gill then used as a shield, so that Gill could withstand the huge burst of fire from the Dragon sword.

 Then, after the torrent from the Dragon's fire sword began to decrease, Gill immediately swung his sword hand with all his might, so that it caused the flames that were gushing at him to turn, and returned to Dragon. The waves from Gill's slashing attack were so powerful, they even made Dragon's body fall backwards.

 Gill's Grood hand mode can indeed make the strength of Gill's right hand increase many times over. And it will definitely give Gill a chance so he can turn things around to defeat Dragon. But Dragon didn't seem afraid at all, when he saw Gill's hand that had changed form. Without saying much, Dragon immediately stood up, and prepared to fight Gill again.

 Dragon realized, that now Gill became more dangerous than before. The atmosphere around the Amritzer Stadium began to turn tense, even the Referee who was the leader of the fight was already far in the stands, to avoid the danger that would occur when Gill was in Grood hand mode.

Then Dragon immediately turned his body to spread the fire in all directions, but apparently Gill had moved again, and now he was right on top of Dragon's head to deliver a very deadly s***h attack against his opponent.

 Dragon looked very overwhelmed to withstand the s***h from above, his hands and feet seemed to tremble, then he shouted uncontrollably so that the flames on his sword grew bigger, so immediately Dragon was able to make Gill pushed away from him. But not for long, because Gill quickly approached Dragon again while throwing a s***h at him.

 Dragon endured another s***h that was right in front of him. Then, because the slashing attack was so strong from Gill's sword hand, Dragon's body immediately slammed far to the edge of the arena to hit the protective shield of the Spectators stands, and made the shield c***k. Even though he had endured it with all his strength using his sword of fire, Dragon's body could still be blown away, because Gill's strength in Grood hand mode was really very difficult to match.

 Then, after Dragon's body fell down and was prone to the ground, Dragon began to feel all the bones in his body as if they had been crushed and broken. But even so he still tried to stand up, with all his might while teetering. All the spectators who were shocked and panicked when they saw Dragon's body hit the shield, now began to feel tense and enthusiastic again, because they saw Dragon who was struggling while teetering to get back up. They all immediately gave support for Dragon so that he could rise again.

 Meanwhile, in the middle of the arena, Gill seemed to be ready to land another fierce s***h attack on Dragon, he prepared his body to slide towards Dragon again. But suddenly Gill seemed to feel something strange starting to happen to his body. His hands and feet began to shake violently, then Gill began to feel intense pain all over his body. It seems like the burden he has to bear from using the Grood hand is starting to be felt by him. But he still tried to endure the pain, even though it was excruciating for him.

 Dragon was amazed to see Gill who was silent while grimacing in pain, therefore Gill's focus was a little diverted. While Dragon continued to watch Gill very seriously, he still trying to stand up straight. Then Melinda started talking to him.

 “Dragon. We can take advantage of this opportunity. " Said Melinda.

 "Take advantage, how do you mean? Right now I can't just walk towards Gill. " Dragon said.

 “Let's try to combine the power of your Heat Flame sword, with mine. Come on, quickly!" Said Melinda.

 Then the expression on Dragon's face changed to like someone who had just got an idea, as if something had crossed his mind. Then he immediately held the Heat Flame sword in his left hand, then raised the sword up high. And the gold plate on his left shoulder immediately emitted light, accompanied by the appearance of numerous daggers above Dragon's head. But there was something different from the daggers, because all the daggers were now covered by a very hot fire.

 The entire dagger that hovered above Dragon's head shone so brightly, it made all the spectators dumbfounded. Then without much further ado, Dragon immediately pointed the tip of his sword, pointing at Gill, who was still trying to endure the pain. Then immediately, all the blades of the fire dagger, shot towards Gill simultaneously.

 So quickly, Gill's body was bombarded by hundreds of daggers, which kept coming in succession, hitting him on where he was, causing the area around Gill to become completely destroyed, covered by flames and dust that scattered in all directions. The whole audience looked wide-eyed watching this, they thought that it seemed like Gill could not possibly survive those deadly attack, because of the fury flaming daggers launched by Dragon.

 Then after Dragon's attack was finished. The dust that covered Gill's presence slowly began to dwindle and disappear, so that Gill's figure could be seen again. But everyone was surprised, because it turned out that Gill was still standing upright in the middle of the arena which had been destroyed. Gill's body was still intact and had no injuries at all, because it was protected by the power of the Grood monster that covered his hands and body like a cocoon.

 After the tense situation had now subsided, Gill immediately change again the shape of Grood monster power, so now it returned to only covering his hands, then he started staring at Dragon who was far away in front of him, Dragon had not gone anywhere. Gill saw Dragon rubbing his body all over, with his palm emitting light. Dragon do that to heal the wounds on his body using the healing power of Melinda, so that Dragon's condition could be better.

 Then Gill began to walk limply towards Dragon, raising his sword hand for him to s***h at his opponent. While Dragon was the same, he immediately walked towards Gill, even though all the bones in his body still hurt. Their condition is really far from being okay, apart from being covered in wounds all over their bodies, their stamina is also almost exhausted, and now they both are trying to run towards each other with panting breaths. It seemed that the two of them still wanted to continue fighting, until one of them could completely fall down and couldn't stand up anymore.

 Using all their remaining strength, the two fighters who were originally just walking, suddenly dashed forward quickly, carrying swords that were about to s***h at each other. Gill with his Grood hand mode, while Dragon with his Heat flame sword.

 Then after the distance between the two of them was very close, the two of them collided with each other's sword slashes, then after doing that, they continued walking until their backs to each other. What they had both done, apparently made the entire Stadium silent. Then suddenly the shocking thing happened, the power of the Grood monster that covered Gill's hand, suddenly burst, or rather it was torn and shattered as a result of the fiery s***h by Dragon's Heat Flame sword.

 Whereas Dragon's body didn't seem to be experiencing the effects of the s***h fight just now. So that he can still be seen standing while holding a sword with flames in his hand. A few moments later, Gill whose hands had returned to normal (Because the power of the Grood monster that enveloped his hands had been burst away), immediately turned around to face Dragon, after that he gave a thumbs up, then suddenly his body fell backwards, until finally Gill was lying on the ground. Suddenly, the flames on Dragon's sword also started to dimmed, then Dragon turned around and walked over to Gill.

 The viewers were silent when Dragon got near Gill, because they still couldn't believe what had just happened (Gill's body fell after a sword-lash with Dragon). At this time, Gill seemed to be panting in a collapsed state as he stared at the sky, then he spoke to Dragon.

 "The power of your fire is really great, to the point that it can burn and destroy the power of Grood monster that's in my hands ... But don't worry, the Grood's power inside my sword will recover by the time." Gill said.

 “That power resides in your sword, drains a lot of power from the user, isn't it? … As for the fire power of my sword, it exerts immense power against the user. So that the longer my attack power increases, while your attack power gets more and more decrease, then finally weakens. Therefore, my s***h of fire could destroy your Grood's power ... He was so shocked because, finally Dragon had defeated Gill and got the title as The Champion of the Togu City Tournament.
