Chapter thirty seven : infiltrate to the Capital

 After spending a long time in the garden with the Princess and the three storm Knights of Nexus, Dragon had to resume his Tour, because he didn't have much time, so Zeitrass immediately said goodbye to the Princess. Because he will bring Dragon with Gard and Riple to continue the tour and visit other places in Nexus Palace. Besides that, the time also showed that it was almost noon, and that meant the banquet for the Dragon and the King was about to begin.

 The princess allowed them to leave, but when Dragon asked if the princess was going to join the banquet? The princess replied that she and her friends would not participate in the banquet, because the event was only meant for the Dragon and the King. After all, they have other activities, namely practicing archery in the yard. So after Dragon said goodbye to leave them there, Princess and her friends continued with these activities.

 Switching from the archery activities carried out by the Princess and her friends, now Dragon has returned to walking through a hallway to the Palace dining room, along with Zeitrass, Gard and Riple. While chatting lightly, Dragon tried to ask Zeitrass something.

 "Will I eat with the King and Queen?" Asked Dragon.

 Then the question asked by Dragon, turned out to make Zeitrass, Gard and Riple a little stunned. So Zeitrass immediately answered the question, “Oh, that's right. Looks like Mister Dragon don't know yet? … Because Mister Dragon comes from the territory of the Fulcan Kingdom, right?”

 "Territory that used to be the Fulcan Kingdom ... Now it’s Not anymore." Said Dragon added.

 "Right, I'm sorry." Zeitrass said.

 Dragon kept asking, "Oh yeah, what were you trying to say? About things I don't know yet. " Asked Dragon again.

 Then Gard cleared his throat. "Um, let me answer that ... Mr. Dragon will only enjoy a banquet with His Majesty the King Velodrian, but without the Queen, because Her Majesty the Queen has long been gone, due to the illness she suffered several years ago ...  “It's okay Mister Dragon. You don't need to apologize. " Zeitrass said. Then after Zeitrass said that, they continued their journey up to the Palace dining room to meet the King there.

 Meanwhile, at the same time but in a different place. Gill and Tatsui, Glauss, Kalpen and Zhoei were near the location of the fort eastern capital (which was poorly guarded). They arrived there by riding a horse-drawn carriage belonging to Narra and Beppu, the two merchant brothers happily escorted Tatsui and his friends there without being paid, because they wanted to help Tatsui even if they were just give a ride. They don't need to know about what Gill and his friends will do in that place, then Narra and Beppu going back to Togu city again.

 As we know that Gill and his friends will carry out an infiltration mission into the capital of the Nexus Kingdom, to retrieve Dragon's weapons from the headquarters of the fortress guard. With the help of Zhoei and Kalpen, the infiltration mission will definitely be easy.

 Zhoei and Kalpen were guides who could safely bring them into the territory of the Nexus Royal Capital. Long story short, after they all gathered, Zhoei and Kalpen immediately invited Gill, Tatsui, and Glauss to walk up to the drainage area, which the drainage stream flows out of the capital's outside fort and is located in the darkest part of the forest. The atmosphere there is very quiet and not guarded at all, because its location which is a fringe of a neglected forest. all of the guard think it is impossible for anyone to enter through the sewer, because the flow of water that comes out is very heavy. So that no one is on guard there.

 But fortunately, by relying on the strength of Kalpen and Zhoei, as well as the experience they already mastered in smuggling goods, Gill and his friends would be able to enter through that sewer, without being hindered by the rushing water.

 After they were all near the large pipe from the drainage source, Zhoei immediately ordered his brother to prepare a thing of transportation that could take them along the fast current. Then without saying much, Kalpen immediately went to the nearby bushes while looking for the object Zhoei meant. Meanwhile Gill and his friends just stood there, feeling confused about what Kalpen was doing. After searching for a long time, finally the object that Zhoei wanted was found, it looked like a giant, worn wooden ball that had been covered by bushes for years there, without anyone caring about it.

 Ordinary people will definitely ignore it when they see it, but it is different with Kalpen and Zhoei, their facial expressions suddenly change like someone who just found a treasure, when Kalpen has managed to find the object. It was an item that was used by its master to smuggle illegal goods from outside into the Capital of Nexus Kingdom without being noticed by the guards of the Capital's fortress, because it was made of a very expensive special wood, which had a high level of camouflage power ( In the past, the only people who could use these objects were Kalpen and Zhoei. However, after the smuggling boss who employed them was caught, that object was never used again and was abandoned there).

 So in conclusion, by riding these objects, Kalpen and Zhoei can bring Gill, Tatsui, and Glauss into the sewer, to wade and fight the current which is very strong and swift, until eventually they all can get to the underground canal that is was right in the middle of the Nexus Royal Capital. And then, they can rise to the surface, to carry out their mission at the Headquarters of the fort Guard located within the Capital City of Nexus.

 Glauss had asked Kalpen and Zhoei about the safety of the object. "Is this thing safe for us to ride on?"

 "It is more or less a dozen years old, but it seems still strong and safe." Zhoei replied.

 Then Tatsui added. "Relax Glauss, this will be fun." Said Tatsui while feeling excited.

 "Yes, it will feels like riding a nice vehicle." Gill said to Glauss.

 Then Kalpen began to explain about the workings of this transportation, which is round and made of wood.

 “Alright, this is how it works, I will use my full power to make this thing lighter so it can float easily in the water. Then when we are all in it, Zhoei will be in charge of driving this thing. By Using her power, she could push it hard so that this huge wooden ball would continue to advance against the swift currents of water. Please remember that all of us will be driven at a very high speed, so there is a high probability that later we will also be adrift and experience several collisions along the way ... So please prepare yourselves from now on. " Said Kalpen explained.

 Then Glauss's face started to turn pale after hearing the explanation, he said. "I'm very easy to get motion sickness. After heard what you said, Now I don't feel well. "

 "Come on, don't complain too much. Knight." Take Gill to Glauss.

 "Yes, come on." Said Tatsui while pushing Glauss's body to get inside the object.

 Then Zhoei ordered all of them. "Okay, don't let any items be left behind, because I don't want to go back again to pick up the Left behind items." Zhoei warned.

 "Yes, sure.”

 "Sure." Answer them.

 Kalpen, Zhoei, Tatsui, Gill, and Glauss entered the object in sequence. After they were all inside along with their bags and a few other items, Kalpen immediately put both hands touching the inside of the object that would become their vehicle. So that instantly, this large round object became light and began to float little by little above the ground.

 Then it was Zhoei's turn to act, she immediately put her hands facing the drain. With a slight push from her hand, then the large wooden ball immediately jumped into the sewer, then struggled against the water rushing out of the stronghold of the Nexus Kingdom's Capital. With all her might, Zhoei used her power to keep pushing the vehicle she was riding with her friends, so that the large wooden ball could continue to advance against the push of a very strong and swift current of water. Until finally the big wooden ball can actually enter and continue to go straight a very long drain.

 Then, because the path was quite narrow, the traveling of the large wooden ball that was crashing into the current caused the people who were in it to constantly experience quite violent bumps and shaking.

Gill and his friends felt dizzy because their bodies kept bobbing along the way, besides that, the collision after impact also made their heads even more dizzy. But over time, the speed of the object finally became more stable, because now the big wooden ball had entered an area with calmer water currents. That means, they are all almost at the underground canal of the Nexus Capital, while Zhoei is still in her position to continue control the transportation in order to stay on course, even though what Zhoei has to do is the most difficult thing, but Zhoei looks very serious and do her best, so that the object they are traveling on can get to the middle of the capital city safely.

 After a long and tiring journey, passing through a drainage channel with a strong current. Eventually they all made it to the underground canal of the Royal Capital, where the waters were calmer. Then when the big wooden ball had stopped and was propped up there, without wasting any more time, they all immediately go out of the vehicle that had brought them to this place. While giving a relieved facial expression that they had arrived safely.

 Then Gill asked Kalpen. "Why is there a stain on your shirt?"

 "Oh this, Glauss threw up earlier." Answer Kalpen with a flat facial expression.

 Then their eyes all immediately fixed on Glauss, so that Glauss gave a statement. "Hey, you should feel lucky. It's a dragon vomit. "

 "Geez." Said them all.

 A few moments later, Zhoei immediately brought her friends out of the underground canal, to rise above the surface. So that all of them could see the view of the Nexus Royal Capital.

 After they all came out of the underground, and were now in the Capital area, Gill and his friends never stopped admiring the entire scenery in the Royal Nexus Capital. It seemed that the situation there really far exceeded their expectations, with the bustling atmosphere and the many tall buildings filling the area, making their eyes overwhelmed by the many interesting objects they could see.

 In addition, the streets of the capital city Nexus are also filled with rich people who are passing by, wearing all-inclusive clothes. In fact, there are also many food traders, street stuntmen, and many more people who are doing their own business there. It really is the atmosphere of a very dense and dynamic Royal Capital.

 Then Zhoei reminded them again that they were not here for a vacation, but to carry out a task, so the three of them immediately realized and began to refocus on the reason why they were here, namely to go to the headquarters of the Fortress Guard Corps, and took Dragon's weapons from that place.

After Kalpen told them where the location was, they immediately prepared the items that would be used to carry out their mission. Previously, Kalpen had put these items in bags which they would carry on their backs.

 Then after finish preparing, they are reminded again about the gathering point they have to go to when they have completed the mission, which is located in the underground canal that their initial location.

So long story short, Gill, Tatsui, and Glauss hurried off to carry out their mission, the place of their destination is in the western part of the Nexus Capital. Namely the headquarters of the fort guard corps

The three of them walked casually along the streets of the capital, and it was very easy for them to mingle among the large number of residents passing along the streets, as if the three of them were part of the capital's population.

 Then after the place they were headed to was visible from a distance, Gill, Tatsui, and Glauss immediately looked for a dark passage between the large buildings that were there, to hide while preparing to wear disguises, so that their identities could not be known when they were carry out a mission to steal Dragon's weapons in that Headquarters. Gill, Glauss, and Tatsui wore clothes all black to cover their bodies, heads and mouths. The figures of the three of them now look like ninjas.
