Chapter Seventeen
Three days.
I have had three days of space before Azrael and Lucifer knock on my door.
I swing it open.
“What?” I demand.
“We miss you and your body” Azrael declares.
“Good to know” I shoot back and try to close the door, but Lucifer puts his hand on it and keeps it open.
“You guys need to stop. I’m tired and I have lot of homework that I need to get done.” I snap.
Lucifer scoops me up and starts carrying me to his car.
“Stop! I need to finish two essays and several math problems!”
“Azrael steps in front of Lucifer and I.”
“We’re angels, Echo. The essays will write themselves and the math problems will solve themselves in our absence. Now, let’s go.”
