Chapter Twenty Two
“Lucifer, what the hell are you doing here?” I scold. He stalks up to me like a predator going in for the kill on their prey, but I stand my ground. I’m a sub in the bedroom, but not outside of it.
“That is not the topic of discussion.”
“Both of you, enough” Hades hisses before turning to me. “Echo, you just made your choice official by admitting it to me. All of those you rejected by accepting Lucifer are going to be very angry, and will pursue you even more relentlessly. They can’t breach mount Olympus, but this isn’t a f*****g joke. This is serious. Are you sure that Lucifer is your choice?”
I clamp my mouth shut, uncomfortable with Lucifer’s presence while discussing this.
