I felt underdressed watching Anna climb down the stairs in such an elegant designer dress but I know that wasn't true, she was way overdressed for just casual shopping.
"You look great Anna" I complimented her since her anticipating look announced to me how much she was fishing for compliments, also...it's childish if I don't compliment her since she really did look great.
"Really? Thanks. My mom got the dress for me on her last trip to Europe.
