CHAPTER 6 4:41 pm, the day before the Winter Solstice “DUDE, YOU MADE IT!” Willow wrapped both arms around Kennedy’s neck and kissed her loudly on both cheeks. Kennedy tried to muster up the energy to return her roommate’s enthusiasm. Willow had been in Alaska for almost a week, making last-minute plans and getting everything ready for her wedding. Kennedy just wanted to grab some food and take a hot shower. She hoped that whatever hotel they were staying at for the night had good water pressure.
