CHASE COLES
I entered my office in my penthouse holding a bottle of water and my phone. There was no way I could go to work after a night that I had with… wait, I forgot her name.
Princess… right!
Damn, I didn’t even get her number. Will she even come back tonight? She has to because we are married. I wonder if she is okay because she told me that she was supposed to get married. I did not believe her until she showed me her wedding dress.
I desired her at that moment, and I felt her insides. Her eyes were crying in desperation for rescue, while my mind found the right candidate it needed.
Now that she is under my last name, I can finally complete and execute my plan. I have got to make her trust me in order to move on to the next step. I am not planning to make her my wife eternally. I’ll abandon her as soon as I possess everything that my Aaron is possessing which belongs to me!
I hear my door beeping, indicating that someone passed my door pass code to enter my penthouse. It can’t be Princess because I haven’t given her the code.
“Chase!”
Damon, my best friend calls out.
What was I even pondering myself about when Damon is the only person that knows my pass code.
“In the study!” I shout, hearing him walking by.
He opens the door and peeps his head in before grinning at me.
“Don’t just stand there and look at me. Come in and tell me what you got for me,” I sneer, drinking the water that’s already in my hand.
“You will not believe what I found,” He announces, sitting on the couch.
“What? Are you going to tell me or do I have to guess?”
“Could you chill out for a second? Geez, dude!” He growls in annoyance. “Anyway, I looked up Georgina Swift as you requested, and you will not believe who her father is,”
Oh, now I remember. Her name is Georgina. I learned it when we were getting married as she presented her ID card to the magistrate who is one of my closest friends I had to call and ask for this last minute favour to be the person who marries me to Georgina. I paid him handsomely for it.
“Why do I sense that I will not like the answer?” I ask.
“She is the only daughter of Steven Swift; the most powerful and feared Mafia in Toronto.” Damon announces before tossing the file across the coffee table towards me. “Man, it is not too late to get out of this marriage. It is not going to end well for you,” He suggests.
I sit back on my swivel chair and swing side to side, thinking the opposite. I know who Steve Swift is pretty well. I am a little bit shocked, but what a coincidence that I met his daughter. It’s like she was brought to me by angels, and the devil in me managed to taint her.
“No, I will continue with our marriage,” I make myself clear.
“Are you crazy? Do you know what that man is capable of? If he ever finds out what you planned with her daughter, he won’t think twice about killing you brutally. He skin’s people alive!”
I tilt my head and ask myself how Damon became a special task agent in the law enforcement.
“Then let me deal with it my way. I already marries his daughter, and she now belongs to me,” I declare.
“Does she even know who you are?” Damon asks, looking deadly in my eyes. “Do you have any idea who that girl is and what she is capable of? Do you think that you will carry out your plan as you think?”
Damon asks curiously.
After learning all the information about Georgina, I discovered that my plans might need to me to readjust them.

I have set up the dining table with food and a bottle of wine. It is just after six and I am not even sure if Georgina is going to come, but I am hopeful. s**t, everything happened so fast that I didn’t get a chance to ask for her number or address even.
What am I going to do?

Meanwhile at the Swift’s mansion, Angela is standing behind Steve, giving him a gentle massage on his shoulders, calming his anger.
“Steve, I have been here for two days, and it’s been an uncomfortable stay for me here, and I am not getting used to anything,” Angela starts.
“Do you want to return home?” Steve asks, not looking at her.
Angela sighs and walks around to sit on top of him.
“Listen, Steve. You have been in your daughter’s case since I arrived. Your daughter might be making her own greatest mistake, but can’t you let her realise it on her own? She is an adult, and she can marry whoever she desires,” Angela says, looking at him.
“are you saying that I should sit and watch her ruin her life and do nothing?”
“Of course, not, but support her. Maybe she married a good man, who knows?”
“They didn’t just get married, Angela; they eloped! If that boy was even a good man, he would have come to me and asked for my daughter’s hand instead!” He rumbled in aggravation.
He balled his hands into fists, unable to lock up his anger.
“Let’s invite him for dinner then and get to know him better,” Angela suggests, only to get a bitter laugh as a response from Steven.
“My daughter doesn’t even know who that bustard she married is. How will we get to know him?”
“Do you plan on locking her in her room forever? Do you want her to hurt herself in there? Steven, set her free,”
Before Steven could reply, someone interrupt them by knocking at the door of their master bedroom.
“Come inside,” Angela shouts.
The door opens, and the maid walks inside.
“Sir, ma’am, It’s Ms. Georgina. She is threatening to end her life if you do not unlock the door. She is standing in the balcony of her room, threatening to free fall to the ground,” She reports.
“Dammit, that brat! It’s my fault for raising her like this. I should have been hard on her,” Steve groans, getting up after Angela jumped up in shock.
“Could you stop complaining and just go and open the door for her, Steven!” Angela shouted.
“Fine!”
Steven took the key to Georgina’s room and left the room to open his daughter’s door. He walked inside her room which Steven assumed a hurricane flew around her room and left a mess, because he refused to believe that his daughter would throw things around like that.
“Georgina!” He shouted as he approached the balcony. “The door is open. Leave!” Steven did not want to waste any time with her, but let her do what she wants.
Georgina looked back at her father with glossy eyes filled with tears.
“But I want you to keep something in your mind, Georgina. If you date walk out of this house going to whoever you are married to, do not think of ever coming back because you’ll no longer be my daughter!” With that said, Steven turned around and left her standing in anticipation.
Marriage and kids is all Georgina has ever dreamed about, and now that she has found someone who wants the same thing, she won’t just give up according to her father’s words.
Sadly, Georgina did not realise that she was walking into a predator’s den. Her desperation has blinded her from seeing the truth and asking questions. She married a stranger after all.
When Steven got to his bedroom, his phone chimed indicating a message.
‘It’s done, sir.’ The message read.
Steven exhaled.
