***Kayla's POV***
The woman told us to follow her to the Altar, as there was so much to do and so little time.
What she meant?
No idea, but the truth is, I had a feeling a lot of things would start to make sense soon enough.
While walking, before the Lake was out of sight, I turned my head to look at the scene there, to see what would be the next step for Cassandra.
Just as I turned my head, I saw her vanish in the same smoke that brought me here.
I kept my eyes on the scene for a moment too long, because as soon as Cassandra vanished, the Lord turned around and wanted to follow us.
His eyes contained the wrath of the Universe - wildfire and ablaze.
I quickly turned my head and faced the direction we were walking in.
When we reached the Altar, the Lord was right behind us.
