Seeing Cassandra gave me an idea.
I approached her slowly and gave her the time to process that I was back.
When we made eye contact, a giant weight was lifted off my shoulders.
Her irises were no longer golden.
They were now the same color as they were the first time I saw her.
White.
"Cassandra.. Are you alright?"
"Kayla! I'm better than ever."
"Good, because I need your help."
She got serious and got up on her feet.
"Tell me."
"When you were here before, you mastered the constellations, right?"
"I did..."
"Great! What other tricks did you learn?"
She suddenly looked embarrassed.
She dropped her head and looked at the ground.
"Cassandra, you're not in trouble, you just have to tell me."
"I learned the mysteries of the other Stars, too..."
