Such power.
I had almost forgotten how far my abilities alone could carry me.
Such amazing power was lost to me for so long, I didn't even remember much until Kayla asked me to teach her.
I taught her the basics that were then used on a much larger scale, by me, but were out of reach for her, since she could only do as much as her immortal shard could allow her.
But the fact that she was bearing the heir gave her access to much more power than she would now be able to output.
And the fact that she did this all so that she would be the last one to bear an heir for me, and so that my power would once again be full, filled me with a strange sense of pride.
I suppose now we just need to wait and see what happens next.
When she wakes up...
She will wake up.
