The Impossible Mate

Truth Time

Charlie's POV

TA and I walked into Alec's house and I was flooded with memories from when I was younger. I lived in this house til I turned 18 and found my mate. It seemed some what appropriate that I tell my son my story hear. TA walked to the frisge and grabbed us both a bottle of water while we waited for Sean and his mate.

His mate! My son had finally found his mate after searching for two years. I was so glad he found someone. Did I know the girl? Would I like her? Would she like me?

My questions stopped when I heard the back door open. I saw Sean who was blocking my view of his mate but he was smiling at me like his father does when Killian has a surprise for me. Sean stepped to the side revealing his mate. STORM!

I stood up and and opened my arms to her, " Storm, I have always loved you like a daughter and now you are my daughter."

I saw tears build up in her eyes as she walked into my arms. I held her tightly and whispered in her ear, " I meant it. I love you just like a daughter. Jewel has always viewed you as a sister. This makes me so happy. I am glad you are his mate. He needs someone to shake up his life."

We laughed as we stepped away from each other. I motioned for them to sit at the table so I could tell my story. TA sat next to me holding my hand to give me strength.

I let out a neverous sigh, " Before I tell you the story of how your father and I came to be us you need to understand somethings and make certain promises."

Seana nd Storm nodded.

I looked over to TA who encouraged me with a smile to go on.

I look back at Sean and Storm, " First off you both can not hate Killian, my father Alpha Brenton, or anyone. If you feel like you need to hate some one then hate me. I am the one who asked everyone not to tell the truth and hide everything."

Sean spoke up, " No one could ever hate you Ma."

Storm added, " I swear to never hate anyone."

TA giggled a little at what Sean said, " Oh Seanypoo you are mistaken but I am getting way ahead. This is Charlie's tale to tell."

Everyone looked at me, " It was my first birthday when my mother Luna Hayls was slaughter out of pettiness. As per traditon we took her to the temple and burned her to ashes, it was there my father met Sienna. They married a few months after that and on my second birthday i was informed that I would be a big sister. It was that same day I was moved into this house to live with Beta Alec, my uncle. Alec raised me, he became a second father to me."

I stopped when I felt tears sting my eyes. I took a deep breath of air and went on.

" My father in so many words had given me up. He even went to announce that I would no longer be the Future Alpha of the Blue Moon Pack but that since Orin as the first son would be the heir. It was that day that I knew I could no longer stay here with the pack I had to leave."

I saw something spark in Sean's eyes. it looked like sympathy or concern. I wiped a tear away that slide down my cheek.

" Alec knew this as well so he helped me plan on my escape. Everything happened on my 18th birthday. As you know when you turn 18 you shift for the first time and you can scent your mate. Funny fact that Alec always made fun of me for is I never wanted a mate. I only wanted to be free."

Sean looked at Storm then at me, " But Ma you use to tell that a mate is a wonderful thing and that it is the best feeling ever?"

Storm placed her hand on Sean's lips, " Hush. Let her finish. We will ask questions after."

I smiled at her, " Thank you. Where was I? Oh.. My 18th birthday was when it all happened as I said. Alec, Orin, and I went out and I shifted. Worse pain I ever felt or so I had thought at the time. We had visiting packs on that day and at the time Luna Sienna had invited Alpha Killian of the Waning Moon pack and some of his pack to my birthday party. I didn't know at the time what would happen because I was planning to leave after the party and make a new life."

I stopped talking when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see Orin. He leaned down and kissed my cheek, " Is it okay that I join in and listen? It has been awhile since I heard about the past"

I nodded, " Yes Orin you can since you are also entwined in this story."

I took another breath, " Like I said Sienna had invited Killian to the party and he accepted the invite. 

When I had arrived to the party I had scented my mate and found him. He knew that I was his mate as soon as he saw me. We found a quite place to talk and one thing led to another and we completed the mating process. I left that night with him and Beta Ashton."

Sean cut in, ' And ya'll lived happily ever after."

It was my turn to laugh, " You would think so since how much your father and I love each other but sadly no. Now Sean hush so i can tell this story or we will be here all damn day."

Sean nodded again.

" As I was saying I left that night with the both of them. Once we returned to Killian's home I met his... his.. so called girlfriend. I was also given a set of rules and told that hoe wolf.. I mean Layla would livinging the pool house. I wasn't allowed to object or anything and Iaccepted it allowing myself to put up with her since I was where I wanted to be. Away from my old pack plus I was the Luna now and had to take care of my new pack members. That night one more thing happened, Ashton found a very injured TA at our border. We had no idea who she was or what she would come to mean to us. A few weeks after my birthday Killian had walked into my room and found Ashton with me in his arms."

Sean stood up straighter and I swear i was looking right at Killian. TA threw her hand up to settle him, " Not like that boy. She had just been informed that Sienna, Brenton, and Orin were on their way for her Luna Crowning. She and Ashton had become close friends and he was comforting her cause she was balling her eyes out."

I looked at TA in shock, " I WAS NOT BALLING MY EYES OUT! I was simply shedding a few tears."

We both laughed.

" Your father saw us in that position and lost it. He ripped me away from Ash and I fell to the floor. I was screaming and holding my stomach. Killian carried me to the clinic for treatment. It was that day I found out I was carrying Sean. For two whole weeks Killian and I were on cloud nine. We were happy. After those two heavenly weeks we found out we were having a boy and at first we were great until Layla had messed it up. Layla had told your father that the pup I carried wasn't his and that it was Ashton's. She had so convinced your father was so caught up in anger and hurt slept with her. When your mate sleeps with someone you will feel a deep gut wrenching pain in your stomach. I felt that pain and it almost caused me to miscarry. After the almost miscarriage I left. I went to an old cabin for a week."

TA spoke, " During the week Charlie was gone Ashypoo and I took it upon ourselves to figure out what the hell happened to cause Killian to stray. We learned or as Charlie would now say beat the truth out of Gamma Warrick. He told us Layla was tryin to get pregnant to passthe bastard child off as Killian's so she could be Luna. When that didn't work she made up the lie about Charlie carrying Ashypoo's pup."

I continued, " Killian placed Layla and Warrick in the cells then came for me. When we got back to the pack we had been told Layla escaped. We were already planning to head the Temple to meet with my father who had his prisoner so we could all proceed with summoning the Goddess. Apparently on the way to the Temple their prisoner has managed to get away but not without taking Orin."

Orin placed a hand on my shoulder and spoke, " The prisoner was my mother Sienna. She had her Uncle Muary, AKA the Rogue King, take me with them to their compond. There Sienna Muary,and Layla plotted to destory both packs, Sienna would raise Charlie's pup, and Layla would murder Charlie. Until the next day when I saw Charlie standing in the tent in front of everyone."

I spoke then, " I was apporached by a stranger who was there to give me an offer of trade. Myself for Orin and the safety of the pack. I traded myself immediately. I was there for a total of 6 weeks."

TA spoke, " While she was there the Goddess had demanded all the surrounding packs come to the Temple to help bring back Charlie and to capture the traitors."

I finished, " The packs all worked together to free me and we returned to the Temple with the prisoners. We summoned the Goddess and she gave them punishments that suited their crimes."

TA laughed, " I should have punished them more."

Everyone looked at her and Sean whispered, " You.. Your the Goddess"
