Now What?

Sean's POV

I was looking at my Grandfather, Alpha Brenton! He looked like s**t. Bruises everywhere covering what I could see of his body. He was trembling. He looked so weak.

I stood up, " Grandpa how.. how are you here?"

He coughed alittle, " Charlene had me summon the Goddess then had her send me here. But yes she would do that."

Orin and Alec help my Grandfather into a close by chair while Storm grabs him a glass of water.

Kere sighs, " So what does that mean for us?"

My father answers, " Charlie and the Goddess want us to let it happen. The Goddess says Charlie asked her to use her authority on us to make sure this happens."

I close my eyes fighting back the urge to yell. My mother was planning to let herself die and force us to stand by to let it happen.

How could all this have happened? I only cam here to help train warriors and now my mother was to be murdered over stupid ass revenge. I would not let this stand. I needed to hear it from her own mouth.

I needed to see it for myself that mother was giving up everything for revenge.

I watch as Storm gives my Grandfather a glass of water and looks over his wounds. She was so worried she wouldn't be a great Luna but here she was tended to my grandfather like it was second nature.

My grandfather looked at me then my father, " This is what she wants. Who are we to deny her this request?"

My father slams his hand on the table, " WE ARE HER FAMILY!!! SHE IS MY MATE!!"

Alpha Kere and Alpha Jonas both nodded. Jonas looked at Kere then to my father, " I like most of you know this needs to end. But it doesn't need to end with the Charlie's life. I say we do what we did before. Capture them and drag them to the Temple for the Goddess to punish."

Kere piped in, " And instead of us keeping it silent we let everyone remember so they know that s**t like this isn't tolerate. I do have one question. How the f**k does that little wolf know what happened?"

I answer, " She is apparently family with Sienna and Layla. But you are right how would she know. I was told that Layla's memories were wiped, Muary is serving God Sin, Warrick is in TA's realm, and Sienna is dead, so how does she know? There has to be something we are missing?"

We all ponder this and try to think of how.

My grandfather finally speaks up, " Was she one of the pups we saved that day?"

My father shakes his head no, " Not possible. Charlie begged to have their minds erased so that the pups never knew that type of life."

I looked at Storm who was biting her lip. I stood and walked over to her, " You are biting your lip which means you have an idea. You are my Luna to be so tell us your thought."

Storm cleared her throat to get eveyrone's attention, " I know ya'll said that Layla's memory was erased and stripped of her wolf. I don't think she fully forgot everything. If she loved Alpha Killian as deep as yall have said then she remembers something. A love like that never dies and is never forgotten."

Her words made sense. I look at my father, " Could that happen?"

Before he could say anything my grandfather answered, " It could. I never let go of the love I had for Hayls. I remember there was a certain room that was guarded all the time. Heather was the only one allowed in. Ashton did ya'll keep tabs on Layla once she was in the human world?"

Ashton face plammed himself, " f**k! We did for the first year then stopped. I didn't think she was still a threat to Charlie or anyone. This is my fault. It is my job to protect the pack, the Alpha, and the Luna. I have failed."

My father places his hand on Ashton's shoulder, " It isn't your fault. We should have let the past be knowing instead of hiding everything."

I speak up, " This time everyone will know. Now what is our plan to keep my mother from allowing herself to die?"
