Chapter 5
Saturday afternoon, Cody rode with his parents to the Clearclay Park gated community. His parents discussed what they hoped to see, and how much they could possibly sell their property on Tanglewood Road for. Cody wondered how Adam was doing at work, wishing he could tour the new home with them.
Thinking about Adam hanging out with his parents, Cody realized how accepting they were. It didn’t feel weird to think of the four of them as a family unit. Before Adam, he never would have thought about talking to his parents about anything gay-related. But now he could be open to an extent.
He still couldn’t talk about the paranormal side of his life, but that was just fine. He had Dominic and the others for that.
