Aaron almost sighed with relief. He could finish his shower in peace. “I’m sorry it had to be a massive wildfire to get you out here.” “Me, too.” Xander clapped him on the shoulder as he walked behind him toward the lockers. “So let’s make the most of it while I am, okay?” “Yeah. We’ll do that,” Aaron agreed weakly. He was excited, but he dreaded the thought, too.
