The next day found Pearl and Leonard exploring the areas they could on the island.
The redhead knew very little about islands but her guess was they were on a pretty sizeable one because they had walked through the same forest for about three hours and had not gone full circle.
After their little hike, they returned back to the house to freshen up then made their way down to the beach on Leonard's insistence.
The weather was warm but not suffocatingly so and the water was pleasantly warm as small waves kissed their feet.
"You know, I've never been to the beach before," she confessed while digging a pretty conch out of the wet sand with her hands.
A strong wave came rushing to them and he steadied her with one of his strong legs.
