"You got your own office, congratulations," the actor says. "Your friend must be green with envy."
"I wouldn't know. She would have been fired if I didn't take her position," I reply.
"You deserve much more than being a head designer," he points. "You're still thinking of being my business partner, right?"
I may be the head designer now but having Stephan Vale as my boss for the rest of my career makes me frown with disgust. Honestly being a partial owner of a new brand whose popularity will be skyrocket because of the actor's fame feels like the more attractive option.
"I am seriously considering it," I answer and the actor smiles.
"That cannot be the thing that brought you all the way here. You could have asked the question through the phone," I point.
