Hope POV THE sun is shining brighter in the cornflower-blue sky. I notice the trees sway in a warming breeze, and the daisies are starting to wilt. It was getting too hot, so we decided to go inside and hang out in the living room. I opened the big windows and let the fresh air in. I turned off the air conditioning. "How old is this house, Hope?" Dom asked me. He was checking out the stairs and the exquisite ceiling. "It's a century-old house, that's for sure. I don't know the year it was built, though."
