"You... From now on, you are mine!" shouts Solaria
Everyone present was watching this scene at a loss for words...
"H- Huh?" asks Kein that wasn't even able to comprehend what he heard a second ago.
"It is as I said! From now on, you are going to be my support! You might be the only one able to bring the best out of me!" says Solaria with a serious look on her face.
"~Uhm... I am sorry for interrupting, but would you mind continuing your conversation on the sidelines? We need to get the field cleared for the next battle," says the announcer through the microphone while everyone was still looking dumbfounded at the scene happening in the arena at the moment.
"Umm... We'll talk about this later..." and by saying so, Kein disappeared in the wind, unable to be seen anymore.
"That kid... I am going to hunt him to the edge of this world if needed!" shouts Solaria while slowly walking towards her waiting place.
A calm breeze blew in Yoso's direction, making him aware of what was happening behind him.
"What's up, mister Kein? Not going to respond that refined Lady's confession?" says Yoso while turning back at Kein that he thought was standing behind him, with a huge smile on his face.
"Who are you laughing at?" says Kein that appeared right in the place where Yoso believed he would be.
"This downside thing is pretty unfair... It's good as an escape option and all... But does it help you with anything else?"
"You don't even know... Watch this," says Kein while pointing towards the cheerleaders that were standing on the sidelines. They were actually Iulio's cheerleaders that came with him but stayed to watch the entirety of the tournament.
After going close enough to them, Kein became wind again, concealing. After that a strong breeze blew towards the cheerleaders, making their skirts go up with the wind.
Yoso that was staring at that could only realize the true extent of Kein's powers.
After realizing that Kein came back, Yoso closed his eyes and told him:
"Mister Kein... Today you've shown me the true capabilities of your power... I don't deserve to be the first Zodiack anymore!" says Yoso with tears falling down on his cheek
"A-Ah... I see... Well, you still have a lot to do, so I'll take my leave before the other judges, or for worse, Shouko and Shizuo realize I am here... Cya!" says Kein while disappearing once again, becoming one with the wind.
Turning back to Laure, with tears in his eyes, Yoso told him:
"Mister Laure... I hope that one day, I'll be as skilled as mister Kein is!"
Laure couldn't help but wonder what came to Yoso, and simply let out a quiet:
"What...?"
"~We are back everyone! And after an incredible show of power and skill, the time for the second fight of the second round to begin! This time around, we have the Zodiack with the sign of Scorpio: Geoff Stinger!
-And the Zodiack that made a wonderful appearance in this tournament, with the sign of the Aries: Sarus of the Pitch Black!"
The crowd was going wild after hearing Sarus's name...
"Just how much attention can one get after taking his hood off?" mutters Yoso with a forced smile on his face.
"Without further ado, let's get right into it! May the fight... Start!"
The first one to make a move given the start of the fight was Sarus, which engulfed the battlefield in a Pitch Black cloud, that absorbed both him, and Geoff at the same time, and then disappeared.
"He used that?!" shouts Ryuuen from his seat, realizing that he used the skill which he has shown in the fight against Carrion.
"What's happening?! I can't see anything!" shouts Yoso after getting up with his feet on his chair.
"~Apparently, the smoke Zodiack: Sarus chose to open up this fight with one unusual move, 'World Of Pitch Black'... This meaning that we'll see the results just after the spell is-" the announcer didn't get to finish the sentence, since the spell was already turned off. With some scratches and even some blood coming out of his right arm, was Sarus standing up, in front of the fainted Geoff. It was indeed one fast battle, but many of the witnesses couldn't comprehend how Sarus defeated someone with Geoff's defensive skills.
"~ I think I spoke too fast since the spell is already over! Looking closer, we analyzed Geoff Stinger's body, and came to the conclusion that he can't fight anymore, thus the winner of the second fight is... Sarus!"
"Mister Sarus is amazing!" shouts Yoso
"Yes... He is indeed one talented individual. From what I can see of it, he used some skills that we aren't aware of... This being the reason for using 'World of Pitch Black' first," explains Laure
"I see! So he didn't want his possibly opponent to get a grasp of his skills before their fight!" exclaims Yoso
"But we can be certain of a thing..." intervenes Saki
Laure and Yoso were looking at her with questioning faces.
"The skill he used is a Legendary Class Skill... Look at his katana," continues Saki
"It's broken to pieces..." mutters Yoso
"Yes... This might be the obvious statement in this situation. Good observation, Kurata,"
"~Following up after, we have the last fight of the second round, between The Zodiack with the sign of the Pisces: Masato Kazuya!
-And one of the newcomers that had shown amazing skill in her previous fight, D.A!"
Like always, many cheers could be heard throughout the arena, and even the cheerleaders shifted from the embarrassing position they were in a few moments ago, and started cheering, mainly for Masato.
"~Now, let the final fight of the semifinals... Start!"
While slowly walking in circles around one another, Diana slowly created herself a flamberge sword, while Masato extended his staff and pointed it towards her.
...Then, with a high leap forward, Diana started off the battle, jumping straight to Masato.
"Water Style: Water Trap!" as calling for this skill, two water snakes extended out of Masato's staff, and went straight towards the mid-air Diana, in the hope of immobilizing her.
However, she just cut through them, and then threw her flamberge, aiming for Masato.
Masato stopped the weapon that was directed towards him by creating a wall of water right in front of him, which stopped it, but this time, Diana came close and created another weapon, now being in close combat range with Masato.
He couldn't rely on his water skills to win this fight, so he had to block her attacks with his staff while taking some distance. Jumping backwards a few times, he then cast a quick skill.
"Water Style: Water s***h!"
Diana muttered something that could hardly be heard by anyone behind her mask, and afterwards, a big white, round wall appeared in front of her, deflecting the attack.
"Tch... I can't drag this... From what I've seen in her battle with Jin if I get hit once I am done for!" thinks Masato
"In that case... Water Original Skill: World of Poseidon!" shouts Masato after creating a big enough gap between him and his opponent.
Water snakes started appearing from the ground, rampaging everywhere, aiming for Diana. She swiftly dodged all of the attempts to catch her, like she was dancing with the snakes. Coming closer and closer to Masato. She might have realized that Masato can't move while using this skill, since it would break the skill's effect.
Out of nowhere, a huge water dragon appeared in front of her, blocking her way towards her opponent. But instead of dodging like always, she chose to go straight through him, with all she's got.
"...Crescent..." once again, quiet enough that no one could even guess what her skill was, she pierced through her opponent, and placed the crescent moon mark on his abdomen, making all the water snakes disappear at once.
Knowing what the result of this fight truly was, Masato raised his arms in the air and spoke:
"I get it... If I move I'll end up like Jin. I surrender..."
After a brief silence, the announcer finally spoke, telling the results to everyone.
"~After countless exchanges, the newcomer, D.A had made her way through once again, securing herself a place in the grand final! We'll be back after a thirty minutes break, with the final, between the three noble fighters that made it this far!"
And like this... The final round was just around the corner...
