He made a simple French toast with coffee and brought it in to Ben, whose eyes lit up. “Real coffee?” he asked. “I figured it was worth the cost.” Colton smiled. “I checked on the kittens and they’re doing fine. Do they already have names?” Ben shook his head, forked more French toast into his mouth. “It really is an injustice you don’t have your own restaurant.” Colton didn’t want to talk about this.
