My heart dropped to my stomach. Gavin. It was Gavin's book?
"Your lying..." I said through my teeth.
Gavin shook his head vigorously. "No, no I'm not. I-I found it...I didn't know it was going to cause this much trouble. I didn't even know what it was."
Bane grabbed my arm. "What is the book Lucia?" He asked more intently.
"I think it might be grimoire."
"A what?"
I sighed. "A witches book of spells, this belongs to someone...I just don't know who and I found it in your downstairs room." Bane squinted at me.
"No one goes in there. It isn't even a room, its just a storage area." He said.
