Chapter Nine Aaron was one of the first people off the plane. It was a fairly quick flight, about two-and-a-half hours, but he didn’t love being cooped up or stuck in a seat. He had only a carryon so he made it to the shuttle bus to get his rental car in very little time. Without too much annoyance, he was in a car and on his way. He checked into his hotel and took a shower. His plan for the day had been to do a little commercial work, leaving plenty of time to pack and get to the airport. Instead, he’d hit the studio and decided on the painting of the flowers in a storm, and had gotten caught up. When he’d resurfaced to reality, he’d barely had time to throw what he needed in a bag and get on the road. Having to rush was slightly annoying, but worth having such a good painting session.
