Chapter 4 Eva’s body ached in places she hadn’t known existed. The bed beside her was empty, but Jake couldn’t have gone far. The plane still soared but honestly she didn’t care. The small windows were shut and she turned the light on that was above her head. She heard the shower so guessed where he'd gone. The private plane was set up as a tiny house. They had a kitchen, dining area, living and bedroom sections, as well as a sitting lounge. Eva's stomach grumbled. The water turned off. She scooted off the bed and pushed her hair behind her ears as she stood and reached for a robe.
