‘He is darkness and he is beautiful.’
Emma Noor was born during a total eclipse, which in her pack is believed to be a bad omen, a bad omen that would lead to her life being the family disgrace, the pack outcast and painfully rejected by her destined mate.
At the age of eighteen, when the moon is at its highest, Emma decides to venture into the dangerous woods and pray to their creator for help.
What answers her prayers is not what she expected, for the foretold Moon Goddess is actually a heavenly handsome God… and he wants her as his mate.

On the day that I was born, the sun, the moon and the earth were all in a direct line, creating an unforeseen total eclipse. It was at this exact occurrence that the moon completely obscured the bright light of the sun.
An omen they said.
A good one? My parents asked. They were eager, excited even, but it was met with a deafening silence.
In my parents' mind, we were creatures of the night, werewolves. What better circumstance would it be for their only child to be born when everything is aligned, when everything is in darkness?
They were wrong. So very wrong.
Bad.
It was a bad omen. Death and Chaos. My birth was a sign of the terror that was to come.
And it would haunt me for the rest of my life.
