The joy in my heart knew no bounds last night when Mr Lewis moved his finger for the second time. I hurried towards the doctor's office screaming like a child, when I remembered Eden and Barbara weren't here.
It's not like I cared about Barbara, but Mr Peterson and his wife would be mad at Eden, if they discovered she wasn't here and I was sure the doctor would call to tell them immediately he hears it from me. I decided to keep it to myself and go back inside.
I was about going in when one of the nurses walked up to me.
"Why are you shouting?" The nurse asked.
"Nothing, I wasn't shouting." I replied, walking away.
"But I just heard you shout." She argued.
"You were hallucinating." I said, increasing my pace.
She kept talking, but I ignored her and went back to his room.
