Saturday Haruki texted me but that day has passed and now it's Sunday, why haven't I heard from Haruki? It's unlike her to go so long without calling me.
It's late afternoon now and still no word from her, I tried to call her phone but no answer.
Kenji is away on busy and won't be back until late tonight or early tomorrow morning. Unfortunately, I can't even call him while he is doing his thing.
I will just text Kenji to let him know what's going on. Hopefully, he will text me as soon as he can.
I waited another hour before calling Haruki's phone number once again. This time someone picked up but it wasn't my Haruki, it was a man on the other line.
"Who is this and where is my daughter", I said to the stranger. "My name is Leo Clerkenwell ma'am", the man told me.
