HERMIONE'S POV
I raised my brows and looked at Phoenix with an inquiry look. I thought we were going to have a date tonight, and it's still afternoon today. How come the plan changed?
As if he had seen through my thoughts, he let out a sigh and buried his face in my neck while hugging my waist tightly.
“I also want to have a date night with you tonight but it happened that my father wanted to meet you this afternoon and I can't refuse it, after all... I also wanted you to meet him,” Phoenix softly said, while looking at me in the eyes.
He seemed to be coaxing me.
