I helped Elizabeth lie back on the bed and when I saw that Phoenix was about to force his way to get in after hearing my voice, I immediately stood up and said to him with assurance.
“Don't worry, nothing happened to me.” I said while looking at Phoenix, who now put his fist back on his trousers.
Phoenix's brows furrowed. “Then if something comes up, I'll be outside for you. Not even that witch's magic could stop me.”
