It has been nearly four decades since the city of Winslow had been cleared of all forms of witchcraft and sorcery. The great king Castor Rumin had made a top priority to make sure that they were all eliminated from the city of Winslow and he did as it was stated in the history of the city. King Castor had always believed that the sorcerers and witches were the reason behind all the evil happenings in the city of Winslow, So he sort in all other cities strong witch hunters who helped in capturing the witches. It was not an easy hunt because the witches and sorcerers had mixed up completely with the villager and it was quite difficult to identify them. The witch hunters had special skills in finding them out. First they had to find out or rather differentiate the witches and sorcerers from the rest. King Castor once believed in sorcery and witchcraft before his wife's death during childbirth. He loved and cherished his wife so much he literally gave her everything she asked for and he was so happy that they were going to have a child soon. During her pregnancy He consulted the witches and sorcerers a as they had a vast knowledge of child delivery. His hatred for them started off that his wife's death. Queen Yuka Rumin died after birthing the Prince Leonidas Rumin. The witch hunters used grinder poppy flower mixed with bane water. The bane water is found in the outskirts of Winslow city and poppy flower grew in abundance around the stream. The witches were captured using a silver shackle laced with poppy flower and bane water which made them very weak and then later forced to drink the mixture of the grinder flower and bane water to kill them off completely. While the witch hunters killed those they were able to catch the rest ran away from the city, they found a settlement miles away from Winslow city and then started a community which they called Belrom meaning the land of witchcraft and sorcery. King Castor found out about their new settlement and was so livid, he wanted to wipe out all the witches and sorcerers from the face of the earth completely. So he still sends more of his warriors and witch hunters to raid Belrom and kill each and everyone of them. The witches tried to defend themselves each time there was a raid, though some of them were captured and killed, the rest still ensured their safety. They made sure they provided all the supplies that they needed so they had nothing to do with going to Winslow. They planted the necessary herbs and crops they needed and even trained themselves in the area of combat to defend themselves in case of any raid. They had blacksmiths who made swords and all the necessary weapons they needed. They had eventually learn to defend themselves after so many decades, although they lived in fear of another raid they still tried to protect themselves the best way they could. Winslow army were very powerful and conquered all wars they got in while Belrom army was no match for the Winslow warriors. King Castor did not rest after each raid, he would start another plan for another plan for a new raid immediately he's soldiers returned. He always told his son the Prince that he needed to be wary of the witches and made him promise to continue from where he stopped when he was no more. “The witches and sorcerers are evil people and as such should all be killed on sight" King castor told Prince Leon. “Why father? They are humans like us, but the difference is they have special gifts” Prince Leon replied. Prince Leon was always against his father's treatment of the witches and sorcerers and he has always be vocal about it but his father always insisted. On several occasions, Prince Leon had helped some sorcerers escape his father but had kept it a secret between himself and his best friend Atlas. Prince Leon was a young handsome man with strikingly fine features, rippling muscles and over the years had grown with a set in vain attitude of confidence. He was also a properly trained Winslow warrior was ready to defend his people at any point in time. He had led the warriors alongside his best friend Atlas who was also a handsome man. Leon and Atlas we're always together, they did everything together right from their childhood they went for training together, for war side-by-side they also would ladies together and all and so on and so forth. Leon had a special slave Phoebe who met his s****l needs every now and then, she was captured during the war with another city, she was so delighted to be chosen by the Prince, he used her to quench whatever s****l desires he had and just like he thought he could get rid of her when he was tired. In Belrom, Dorian Dieder who led the witches and sorcerers out of Winslow. He helped to raise the settlement and also gave it its name. He and other witches and sorcerers formed witches vine consisting of so many other elders. The elders continued to manage the affairs and safety of the community to the best of their ability. Dorian was a wizard born from a lineage of strong witches and wizard. His father was know as one of the greatest wizards, he inherited that from his father. Dorian's wife Rhea was not a witch or a sorcerer, she couldn't leave her husband while they escaped from Winslow, so she followed him. Rhea delivered a baby girl few years after they arrived Belrom. Rhea and Dorian named their daughter Cora. Cora had the same eyes like her dad, but looked like her mother more, even now she was grown, she had her mother's body. Rhea and Dorian always wanted their daughter to be happy and so they always thought that sending her back to Winslow was the best option. Regardless of how secure the people of Belrom felt they were, Rhea always knew that King Castor would never stop until he was sure that all of them were dead, even though it had been a while they raided Belrom, and they feared it might be soon. They both didn't want their daughter to suffer the way they and the other witches and sorcerers did. Cora was blessed just like her grandfather and was to become the greatest witch of all time, she was to be well nurtured so as to learn how to use her gifts properly, but of what use was her gift when her kind were killed. They felt the best was was to supress her powers so she wont be able to use them ever. She was to be sworn into the witches vine when she was 21 years of age. Rhea wanted something better for Cora and it did not exist in Belrom, and Dorian didn't agree less. Rhea had a twin sister Thea who she was very much in contact with for years even after she and her husband left Winslow. Thea was equally married, she got married to Evander almost the same time Rhea got married to Dorian, but Thea had no child. Thea and Evander had tried convincing Rhea to come back to Winslow but she had adamantly refused. Instead she begged her twin sister to take her daughter Cora with her. Thea was okay with that but it had to be when Cora was of age. Now Cora would be 21 in 2 days, she had to make preparations for her birthday and exit from Belrom. Dorian and Rhea got her a bracelet made of fine cowries, the cowries were gotten from the Caiden River, it was strong enough to supress Cora's powers for as long as she had the bracelet on. It will enable her live in Winslow without any problem. Cora was now a full grown woman, she was so beautiful with captivating hazel eyes, had a slender form and curves like her mother, her breasts were fully formed, she was capable of attracting the male specie with just a glimpse. “Mama what would you and papa get me on my birthday?” Cora asked. “The best gift of freedom” Rhea replied. “But i am free” Cora said looking so confused. “You will understand what i mean my child when the time is right, but first have this”Rhea said bringing out a beautiful bracelet. On seeing the bracelet Cora exclaimed. “Wow, it is so beautiful, it must be very expensive” “Yes it is. I want you to have it, it cost your father and i a lot to get you this. Make sure you wear it at all times even while bathing and sleeping, never take it off. Guard it” Rhea explained as she placed the bracelet on Cora's left wrist. “I promise to always have it on mama, thank you” Cora said as she stood up to give her mother a hug.
