Next morning, when she opened her eyes Eden felt a loneliness hard to explain.
“Go after Ryder and be with him, please” Slade cried out because more than half of the night she begged Eden to open her eyes and take their mate, and be with him in the most intimate way.
Eden was horrified by the way she wanted Ryder more and more with every day spent in the New Moon Pack. It was as if everything around her was working with the universe to make her give in to Ryder. And she was furious with herself. She had plans. A lot of plans and if she will start to crave for her mate everything would be in vain.
She is an independent woman. She can't rely on a man, mate or not.
