In the last days Eden didn’t do anything abnormal. I caught her looking at the ring I brought for her, even if she objected. But that simple ring , with a smallest diamond I ever saw but Eden made it clear that if I insist in buying a ring it must be a cheap one. Cheap is not in my vocabulary, so I forced her chose between the diamond rings and she chose the cheapest one. Only ten grands, but she insisted that is enough.
Yet every day since that day from time to time she looks at it, or sometimes plays with it as if she marvels at the idea of wearing it.
What changed since then is that she started to follow her classes again, daily, working damn hard for her grades and that is impressive. I never saw her this way. I am not a man who loves woman. Until Eden I had only one
