Rage It was a long night. She kept having nightmares. I tried to wake her up every time I felt her crying or trashing in her sleep, but it was so frequent that I started to doubt it was the best approach.  I wasn't sure how long it had been, it was too dark and there were no windows to know if the sun was out.  Normally I wouldn't be able to sit still for so long, but my focus was on her, and that made everything bearable for the moment.   And eternity later the lights were turned on.  My eyes hurt from the sudden light, and I had to close them.  I heard steps coming our way and was prepared for whatever they threw at us, but then I saw an older woman carrying what looked like a medical briefcase and felt relieved that they were finally going to pay some attention to her.  "Took you l
