20. Not alone anymore

Rage I had no idea how I had managed to fall asleep.  I was supposed to be looking over Cara, but she clearly wanted me to have some rest, and I just got too relaxed.  When she shook me awake, I realized someone was coming, so I moved to the front to face any threat that could be coming for us, but I was gladly surprised when I realized it was my dad. "You better take the opportunity to finish your writing, we might not have much time," I told her, not knowing how long they would allow him to be here.  We needed to present her side of the story.  I trusted we could get her out of her unfair punishment, but I needed her to give us some ammunition.  Once she reached for the notebook and started writing, I moved closer to the bars.  They were silver, and I couldn't risk touching them and g
