Lucian’s POV
Waking up next to Tessa this morning felt like a dream. Like a Koala, she held me, hooking arms and legs over me like I was her tree. Not wanting to disturb her, I watched her sleep. I took everything in and memorized it. She had broad shoulders, definitely an athletic build. She could become the next top warrior if she trained more. But I liked her as is. Her lips were perfect for kissing and for other things that I shouldn’t be thinking about with my student. That’s when it hit me.
Today’s the day we go back to another reality. We thought our bubble was burst before, but we have no idea what’s gone on at school and Grant hasn’t been around. He said he had urgent news and went radio silent. I thought it was because he knew I was with Tessa but now I couldn’t know for sure.
