All of us here were alive and well and the only person who wasn't here was Mirabel. Unthinkingly we all scrambled out of there each of us not speaking just knowing that we needed to follow the imaginary pull and dreading what it would lead us to. Luke was miles ahead followed by Ben and Jason with us girls lagging behind. We reached Mirabel's room to find Luke cradling her in his arm as blood trickled from her nose.
