"Unkle toms back!" Sophie calls out and before I can say a word both she and Brody are already running for the door.
"Be careful!" I shout out to them but I doubt either of them is listening. I pick Katie up from the floor and head for the door to see my brother, I've barely seen him over the past 7 years since he joined the army.
Even after he left the army he went to live in Florida with Archie and his wife Molly so I didn't see him much even then. Yes, we had the odd visits from him and spoke a few times a week over Facetime and whenever I had the kids but it still hasn't been the same.
Sadly Archie died last year in a house fire and so Tom and Molly went on an around-the-world trip that was already planned, don't get me wrong I'm glad that Toms got to live his dreams of g
