"N-No, of course not! It just happened that I was walking past here and I heard a noise. I thought there was something inside but . . . Um, ah-"

I could no longer finish my words because the way Wade stared at me made my heart stop beating. He took a step forward while staring at me intently. I swallowed hard and took a step backward. My heart pounded so hard. He stares and it weakens my senses. I could have imagined the kissing scene of him and Amelia and my mouth parted.

Is he going to do the same as me? Is he going to kiss me too? Goodness me! I'm not ready for this!
