Night Life
After a bath, Julian felt much better. The previous few weeks had been draining, and had filled him with tension he almost hadn't realized. To say nothing of grime from the road and his physical injuries. He could have soaked all night and to blazes with going back down to the taproom, but eventually the bath water cooling and his stomach growling forced him to get up.
Raedrick had already finished dressing and gone back downstairs when Julian returned to their room from the baths, so he lingered just long enough to change out his bandages and don a fresh set of clothes before heading downstairs himself.
It was a lot easier on his leg going down than coming up. No big surprise there.
