CHAPTER 19 RAINA’S POV When I opened my eyes, all I saw was pitch darkness. I looked around, dragging my tired body along with me in the whirling motion. It felt like I had been drenched in a never-ending abyss of darkness and the only thing that came to me was my labored breathing and uneven heartbeat. I shut my eyes tightly, my heart slowly hammering with fear as agitating thoughts gathered in my head like dust. What was going on? Where was I? Why did the ground feel like debris under my feet?
