RAINA'S POV
My heart couldn't take it, the trauma followed me everywhere I went like my shadow.
I thought Claus was different, kind, benevolent but he was as cruel and evil as Alpha Declan was. I could never get the scene where the gleaming execution sword had severed the man's head. Blood had spluttered on Claus's face, making the room seem even more frightening and grotesque.
When Declan had entered the room, it felt like an overpowering, ominous presence had gripped everything around me. I couldn't stand the sight of him, deep down, I had a feeling that it was Declan who had given that brutal command.
