RAINA’S POV
Her eyes gleamed with surprise, “My lady? What are you doing here?” She asked, looking me over to ascertain that I wasn’t harmed in any way.
“Uhm,” My eyes darted around. “I was just taking a stroll around the mansion and I stormed up to this place. Apparently, the door got stuck and I haven’t been able to get out ever since.” I replied, walking towards the door carefully so that the books I carried wouldn’t be revealed.
“Oh dear!” She exclaimed and rushed in, carrying along a brush and parker. “This place hasn’t been cleaned for years! I had taken a mental note of it for months but I always seemed to forget.” She slapped a livid hand to her forehead. “I’m so sorry, my lady. I hope you did not get affected by the dust.”
