DECLAN’S POV
I walked into my study to find Raina already seated. I noticed the way she rubbed her hands together, her fingers were not steady and her right foot gently tapped on the carpeted floor. I closed the door behind me and she shuddered slightly. I headed towards my seat behind the table and placed the glass of Scotch I carried on the desk. I haven't looked at her yet.
From the second drawer, I pulled out a golden cigarette case and a lighter. I could feel her eyes on me the entire time as I lit a cigarette and brushed the golden case aside.
