I didn’t trust Ethel with as much faith as I had come with as I left the pack, but that didn’t mean he was wrong about what he said. I was down with the plan, as long as Declan paid for the crime against my family, I was willing to play my part. But it wasn’t until I climbed onto my horse, which the guards had brought out of the stable to the front of the pack house, that I realized the full gravity of what I was doing.
