RAINA'S POV
“I'm not staying here with you.” I said vehemently, rubbing my heavy eyes that were starting to itch.
I slipped my hand out from under his grip, expecting him to give me some space, but he just stood there. His scent and heat oozing out of him.
“Then I'll have to walk you out myself.” He remarked and frowned. “Although, I was bent on staying here.”
“I came here on my own,” I said, that sprung up a bit of pride in me and I spoke more confidently. “And I'm sure I can do it again.”
He scoffed, “You might not get lucky the second time, Raina.” His voice was thick and solemn. From the look in his eyes, I knew he wasn't just trying to get me to stay, he was damn serious.
