Chapter 18
Ruby ran straight to Ophelia's house as that was the place she wanted to be, she wanted the comfort of a friend. Someone to talk to as she felt so out of place at that moment.
She wiped her tears, sniffling as she arrived at Ophelia's gate.
Her father worked as a manager and they were quite well-to-do.
“Please I want to see Ophelia,” she said to the security man at the gate.
He opened the fate immediately after for her, ruby usually visited Ophelia, so the workers around knew her quite well.
“Thank you” she muttered in a low voice as she ran into the compound and made way for the main building.
“Good day, Clara,” she said to the nanny, who was returning from the backyard.
“How are you, Ruby?” Clara asked as Ruby nodded.
“I'm fine..” She replied.
“Please is Ophelia in?”
