Sin jolted awake from another dream, this one so real he sat up in a panic, breathing hard, and searched the room for Rein, and for reassurance. Rein was instantly at his side, sinking onto the bed next to him. Lines of concern creased his forehead. "What is it?" "I had another dream. This one about North Palace." "What about it?" "I saw it in the moonlight. It was abandoned." "It already is. We're the only ones here." "No," Sin said, a chill creeping up his spine. "I mean really abandoned, Rein. It was empty, crumbling. A ruin." "You were just dreaming." Rein reached out and brushed the hair back off Sin's face. "It didn't feel like a dream. It felt real." So real the images still haunted him.
